肉躁 Stewed Ground Pork

肉躁真的是個很方便也很下飯的菜餚.自從之前嚐過姑姑做的肉躁後,我最近決定跟姑姑學著做,也很成功!

材料 (都可在99 Ranch Market買到): 

  1. 碎豬肉, 1 lb
  2. 五花肉,1/2 lb
  3. 醬油, 2 tbsps
  4. 蠔油, 2 tbsps
  5. 白胡椒粉(這次我用黑胡椒粉)
  6. 五香粉
  7. 油蔥頭
  8. 沙拉油/ 橄欖油
  9. 水, 1 1/2杯

做法:

  1. 少量的油,用中火加熱
  2. 將五花肉切碎,丟進鍋裡炒30秒
  3. 再將碎豬肉丟進鍋裡跟五花肉一起熱炒約2分鐘直到肉的顏色變白
  4. 將醬油以及蠔油加進鍋裡
  5. 加入白胡椒粉以及五香粉
  6. 再加入一把油蔥頭
  7. 把鍋內的食材攪和一下
  8. 再加1 1/2 杯的水進鍋裡, 把鍋蓋蓋上,用小火燉30分鐘.
  9. 完成! 
   

Stewed ground pork, a yummy dish and going well with rice or noodle. Lately I decided to learn and make stewed ground pork after tasting the one my aunt cooked. Here we go!

Ingredient can be found and bought @ 99 Ranch Market:

  1. Ground Pork, 1 lb
  2. Pork Belly, ½ lb
  3. Soy Sauce, 2 tbsps
  4. Oyster Sauce, 2 tbsps
  5. White Pepper (I was using black pepper this time though)
  6. Five Spices Powder
  7. Fried Shallot
  8. Vegetable Oil / Olive Oil
  9. Water,1 ½ cups

Method:

  1. Chop pork belly 
  2. Pour a small amount of vegetable oil /olive oil into a pot and heat on medium heat.
  3. Stir-fry chopped pork belly for 30 seconds, meanwhile, the fat of pork belly will be dripping out a little bit.
  4. Put ground pork into the pot and mix with pork belly. Keep stir-frying them until they turn white.
  5. Add soy sauce and oyster sauce.
  6. Add the white pepper and five spices powder (desired amount).
  7. Add a handful of friend shallot.
  8. Stir everything a little. 
  9. Add water and cover with the lid, stew with low heat for 30 mins.
  10. Done!

自製"原子彈麵包"

有天我們就突然想要吃麵包,於是就自己開始動手做麵包. 景氣差也是要有應變方法,而且體會其中的樂趣也是幸福啊! 在忙碌的生活中,這也算是忙裡偷閒啦!不過在做這麵包以前, 我就有嘗試做過biscuit還有garlic bread (大蒜麵包). 大蒜麵包很好吃!不過biscuit可能是沒有等奶油全部軟化,導致攪和不均勻,鹽又放太多,導致失敗!下次一定要再試一次!我biscuit是遵循Food Network的名人主廚 Paula Deen的食譜去做, 她是一個不大笑沒辦法做菜的奶奶級廚師. 下次要試試她的Hurry Up Chicken Pot Pie,看起來好像很簡單又好吃!

不過說真的,在做這麵包的時候,還沒有想到會變成這麼大! 就跟黑輪放到火鍋裡面一樣,突然就變小胖. Amazing!

**這次的原子彈麵包是用幾樣簡單的材料作成**

  1. Flour (麵粉), for bread尤佳, 3杯
  2. Yeast (發酵粉), 2/3-1茶匙
  3. 糖,2茶匙
  4. 鹽,1茶匙
  5. 溫水, 250 ml
  6. 橄欖油, 1茶匙

**製作過程**

   烤箱版
  1. 將所有材料通通丟進麵包機裡面,我們家的是可以選擇作成Dough(麵團)還是Bread(麵包),首先先選擇Dough(麵團)選項,約耗時1.2 hrs.
  2. 揉麵團的過程包括第一次發酵,若揉完麵團想要選擇用烤箱烤的話,先將麵團拿出來,視個人喜好加料,也可不加. 加料前將麵團揉開,放自己喜歡的東西, 例如葡萄乾,杏仁,核桃等!
  3. 加料後把麵團揉回團狀,放在烤箱內,噴上一點水在麵團表面,讓它第二次發酵約40 mins,再用200華氏溫度烤20 mins.
  4. 麵包完成!

   p.s 放在烤箱內發酵可以放一杯水再旁邊,讓麵團溼潤且預防水分流失.


  麵包機版
  1. 將所有材料通通丟進麵包機裡面,我們家的是可以選擇作成麵團還是麵包,首先選擇Dough(麵團)選項,約耗時1.2 hrs.
  2. 揉麵團的過程包括第一次發酵,揉麵團程序結束後,將麵包機設定選擇為Bread (麵包),然後選Crust(酥脆)程度, 我選擇light.在讓Bread設定啟動之前,可以選擇自己要加的料,同上.
  3. 加料後把啟動Bread設定,麵團會自行二次發酵,Bread設定會將麵團直接在麵包機裡面烤,完成品就是原子彈麵包形狀, 約一個多小時,麵包完成!

其實做麵包的材料可以依個人喜好去調整, 不過我也非專業,這僅供分享!不好吃不要怪我阿!=.=

可憐的鄰居

有天早上醒來, 就在要開門check mailbox時, 突然有個景象從我眼前閃過.
就是這個!!! 可憐的鄰居小孩, 被同學惡作劇,在他們家的樹上捲滿了衛生紙. 這是美國小鬼常用的惡作劇手法, 剛看見時我還真不知道說啥! 但下意識的衝到樓上,拿我的相機, 開大門,快速咖擦,閃人!不好意思嘛! 傍晚出門再仔細看,惡作劇的小鬼還分得真清楚, 我家前院跟鄰居前院中間好像有某種分界線似的, 我家部份就非常乾淨,鄰居的則是充滿衛生紙.  

經過幾天的觀察, 鄰居大概過了三天後, 他們家的teenager才開始想辦法把衛生紙扯下來. 其實這種衛生紙可以溶解於水,但那幾天不下雨,sigh.. 他甚至把車開到樹下,踏到車頂上去拉,但其實非常難拉. 中間還有好心的路人慢跑經過來幫忙. 

不過因為這幾天狂下雨,其實也溶解得差不多了. 還真麻煩呢! 

家裡後院的檸檬樹&柳丁樹

從搬到LA後, 最讓我嘖嘖稱奇的就是家裡後院的檸檬樹. 就這麼大辣辣的佇立在一旁,不管何時看都是呈現一片金黃色. 而且長出來的檸檬, 跟柚子一樣大. 於是我一次都摘了十擠棵擠成檸檬汁來喝, 也不用加糖, 健康又省錢喔!

檸檬樹旁邊有棵低調的柳丁樹, 默默的閃在一旁, 有點被檸檬樹overshadow啦! 不過能摘下來的柳丁也有50幾顆左右,雖然不是非常甜,有點酸, 但是果汁很多喔!我每天吃兩顆,也感覺很健康.
